Publisher Capcom has announced it'll be hosting one last look at Exoprimal prior to launch. The online multiplayer shooter, which pits teams of mechs against enormous hordes of dinosaurs, is scheduled to arrive on PS5 and PS4 on 14th July 2023. If you've yet to be persuaded into trying it out, the company is making one final push before it goes live.
On 10th July (or 11th July depending on your location), the Exoprimal Showcase will premiere live on YouTube through the link. As for what will be shown, we can expect "a look at a new story trailer, exciting new details about the war games, and a few surprises Exofighters won't want to miss". All fairly mysterious, then, but it's probably worth tuning in if you're interested.
It takes place at 4:30pm PDT / 7:30pm EDT on 10th July or, if you're in Europe, 12:30am BST / 1:30am CEST on 11th July. A pretty late one for us — cheers, Capcom.
Will you be checking out the Exoprimal Showcase next week? Are you excited for the game? Don't go in the long grass in the comments section below.

What's left to really show? Seems like it's been at so many events now
This game is going to flop harder than a Spinosaurus.
“Let’s recap on all the information we have just shown you”
I’m not falling for that trick again, CapGod!
@KaijuKaiser Monster Hunter Rise is on game pass and was there on the first day. It is Capcom's 2nd most successful game of all time.
@Grimwood Some companies make money on how often the game is played.
@Cashews didn't that game first release on switch and get high praise though? So word of mouth already made it a must download for gamepass subs. Also it's Monster Hunter which is a very popular franchise of capcom's.
@Cashews That's completely ignoring that it had been on PC for over a year and Switch for 22 months, that's not "first day".
@GeneJacket I'm not ignoring anything. I bought the game it's first day. Obviously it was the first day it was released on a console that wasn't the switch. I assumed everyone knew it was on the switch for almost 2 years.
sorry for assuming people knew things.
This game has all the characteristics of being fun but doesn't look it.
@Luvstagrind It got insanely high praise. Which I believe is a good reason they didn't necessarily need to go the gamepass route.
I'm also making the assumption capcom liked the gamepass route with Rise - so they did it again here.
Personally I can't wait. It's the game I most want to play this summer. Dumb, co-op lobby fun where I get to show Dinosaurs that humans are their masters in any age.
To me Rise is the game of this entire generation. No one does lobby co-op as well as Capcom. I expect that here too.
@Cashews Ok...that's not what you said, though.
Your words: "Monster Hunter Rise is on game pass and was there on the first day."
That statement, without the caveat that by "first day" you meant first day on Xbox, is factually incorrect. This is a text medium, don't assume everyone will understand your intention.
This game has to be some kind of tax write-off or hobby project for someone at Capcom. It looks like an afterthought multiplayer mode for a larger, singleplayer game.
I will wait for a sale and when more suits are available. Played the betta and it was fun but hoping to see more.
It depends on their expectations ofc but this game might turn out to be Capcom's first L in a very long time.
I played the beta and the game was ok. I’ll avoid this showcase but check out reviews though. With the way Capcom has been, I’m surprised we didn’t get reviews already like with RE4 and SF6
I dont care what they show. I wouldn't play this even if it was free.
This game just looked like dumb fun on reveal, I mean you have elements of Lost Planet with the suits and Monster Hunter with the dinos, all in a L4D-like mob shooter. After playing the beta, I'd prefer to just go play Monster Hunter or Lost Planet more
Most people already forgot this existed.
Didn't know this game existed. Then saw footage last week. Got kind of interested. Then saw it was free on game pass, lost all interest. Unless it was a game I was dying to play, I'm not supporting a game that's releasing on game pass.
Wo Long was also day one on the game pass and what? You people are so much driven by the power of your prejudice.
Let's see if Game Pass can finally carry a shooter to success lol.
When this hits PS Plus essential (because it will be) maybe I will give it some time but overall it doesn't look like my thing. Even the SF6 skins are kinda ugly.
This game will be the end of capcoms hot streak 😓
@KaijuKaiser I would say it is more reflective of their confidence in how the game will sell rather than the quality of the game. definitely understand the skepticism though
@Drago201 Everybody already forgot about RE:verse then?
@TripleKing333 it came out when? 🤔 cuz I really don't remember it
@Drago201 Not long after RE Village.
RE: Resistance came out before that with RE:3 Remake and that sucked too haha
@TripleKing333 k cuz I didn't remember it and even though re3 does suck it still sold millions 🫠
@Drago201 RE Resistance sucked the singleplayer is short but it doesn't suck far from it.
@Cashews Monetized to hell is the thing that's not what I'm happy about. Always online even for the story mode. RE Outbreak had a offline singleplayer with online. A almost two decades old had more options the this one modern gaming that takes options aways. 🤣
@Soulless666 Does it even make sense to release games on Xboxnwhen nobody buys them? Most wait untill it's on Gamepass even MS themselves said it Gamepass takes sales away.
Waiting for reviews on this. Haven't had anything to replace my giant Splatoon 3 sized gap on the MP front..
Not my type of game and doesn't look interesting to me, but I'll check it out for at least 10 minutes.
It’s so annoying because when this game fails they’ll say dinosaur games don’t sell. Why can’t they just make a normal dinosaur game? All the money they wasted on this… they could have remade DinoCrisis.
Hate to say it but this might be a rare L for Capcom...
@ATaco Unfortunately because man they are on a winning streak rn.
